Florin Pärvu, the new coach of the Petrolul Ploiesti team.
“I felt the boys were a bit lost in the dressing room but I kept cheering them on. I really believe in them. All that happened, especially in the last match, was a cold, icy shower. I’m glad to be here. I consider myself at home. I really wanted to go back. I came with an open heart. I am sure that we will manage to do a good job here” – Florin Parvuformer captain of Petrol.
At the age of 47, Parvu was born in Ploiesti and made his debut for Petrolula in the first stage of Romanian football in the 1995-1996 season. He then had a two-year stint in China, in Henan, returning to Petrolul, where he continued to work until 2001, when he moved to Dinamo Bucharest.
He also played for FC Brasov, University of Craiova, Stal Alchevsk (Ukraine), AEL Limassol (Cyprus), again Petrolul, KS Otopeni, Chimia Brazi and KS Tourna Severin, the team where he ended his playing career and started it in the team coach, assistant Marian Bondrea.
As a technician, he led Chimia Brazi and Conpet Ploiesti from the position of “principal”, was also the second coach at Petrolul in 2014 during Rezvan Lucescu’s mandate, and then at Rapid Bucharest. Since 2016, he has been actively working in China, in Henan, where he alternately worked as a technician for the U19, U21 and, most recently, the second team of the club, writes News.ro.
