According to the Office of the Secretary General of Primary, Secondary and Special Education and Training of the Ministry of Education and Religion, Alexandros Koptsis, distance learning will take place tomorrow and in the following days in all regions of the country in which the daily work of school units is suspended by decision of municipalities or regions. Based on the relevant announcement, all school principals and teachers were informed that the relevant links and programs that will take place the next day were sent to students the day before.
Florina, Kozani and Amintaio
Schools in the municipalities of Florina, Kozani and Amintaio will remain closed tomorrow, Tuesday 7 February. Kindergartens will operate as usual in all three municipalities.
Later, the bell will ring in several municipalities in Western Macedonia. In the municipality of Velventu Kozani and in the municipality of Deskatis Grevena, classes will start at 9 am.
In an hour, schools in the municipalities of Vauau and Nestorio will be open. At 9:15, classes will begin in the municipalities of Kastoria and Grevena. Finally, in the municipality of Eordai, schools will open at 10 am.
Municipality of Western Lesbos
Due to the frost that is expected to prevail in the next few hours and the difficulties with transport that will exist, by decision of the mayor of West Lesbos, schools of all grades will remain closed tomorrow, Tuesday, for the second day.

- TO CENTRAL SECTOR OF ATHENS The schools of the municipalities of Zografou, Byron, Kaisariani, Ilioupoli will not work. In all other municipalities they operate as usual.
- IN ANTI-REGION OF PIRAEUS:

The governor of the region G. Patulis warmly thanked the mayors, deputy governors and all officials of the region and municipalities and pointed out that in case of disagreements in the work of nurseries, the municipalities responsible for their work should make appropriate announcements. .
The Regional Governor of Attica indicated:
“Our decision to suspend the work of specific schools in Attica for tomorrow, Tuesday, February 7, is based on considerations of the pattern of the development of the wave of bad weather, as well as requests from the mayors. In this regard, evaluating the forecasts of meteorologists, which indicate that, despite the gradual decline of the phenomenon, snowfalls and frosts will occur in places in the coming hours, as a precaution, we decide to close some schools and kindergartens. The safety of students, their parents and teaching staff remains our absolute priority.”
The Attica region is monitoring the development of the phenomena and, having assessed the situation, will announce with a new announcement whether the closure of schools in certain areas will be extended on Wednesday, February 8th.
