The draft budget of the municipality of Bucharest for 2023 will be submitted for a vote in the General Council of the capital on Friday. Also on the agenda is the second project, according to which the capital city hall should arrange a loan for 150 million lei.

The money will be used for: investments in the consolidation of the district heating network, a number of projects provided for in the Comprehensive Urban Development Plan (PIDU), Doamna Gica road, the passage of the Ghencea – Domneşti extension and the extension of the Ghencea boulevard; restoration of the Flamaropol skating rink – a priority route for pedestrians and cyclists.

Regarding the draft budget of the capital, the PSD group made an amendment, which provides for: addition of 630 million lei for the payment of material incentives; addition of 56 million lei to continue work on the goal “Food bank, social canteen, mother and child assistance center and socio-professional reintegration”; 24.7 million lei for the completion of works on the block of social housing in the building There is no gencha. 322 – 326; 2 million lei for the development of the cultural and artistic project “Bucharest City Art Gallery”. The amendment received a negative opinion on Thursday from the Economic Commission.

Also at the time, PNL municipal councilor Rezvan Sokolovic said that the Liberals would submit an amendment aimed at increasing STB’s authorized capital by 100 million lei (based on Tuesday’s CGMB decision); allocation of 20 million lei to increase the efficiency of public lighting on 13 boulevards; addition of one million lei to the sums allocated for the participation budget; the addition of 37 million lei to the salaries of City Hall employees and subordinate institutions (as a result of the increase effective from January, based on the decision made at the CGMB meeting on Tuesday); replenishment of sums for the repair of streets and sidewalks; supplements for cultural institutions.

At the same time, on Monday, the capital’s mayor-general, Nikushor Dan, announced that the capital’s draft budget would offer a “consistent” amount for free microchipping and sterilization, as well as for expanding the capacity of the dog shelter. He said he was considering allocating 10 million lei in this year’s budget for dog sterilization, but noted that the amount would be determined after discussions with political groups in the CGMB.

According to the project, the total budget of the capital city hall and subordinate institutions in 2023 will amount to 11.3 billion lei, of which the local budget is estimated at 8 billion lei.

The total revenues of the centralized general budget were forecast at the level of 11,393,740,000 lei, of which the largest share is taken by:

* broken income tax quotas – 4.8 billion lei;

* non-tax revenues – 2.7 billion lei;

* subsidies from the state budget and other administrations – 1.3 billion lei;

* amounts received from the EU on account of payments made – 912 million lei;

* financial transactions – 1 billion lei;

* income from capital – 350 million lei;

* taxes and duties on goods and services – 55 million lei.

Total costs were forecast at 11,393,740,000 lei, of which:

* personnel costs – 2 billion lei, of which 1.3 billion lei for 19 local government hospitals;

* goods and services – 2.1 billion lei, of which 1.1 billion lei for 19 hospitals;

* interest – 267 million lei;

* subsidies to cover the difference in price and tariff – 2.4 billion lei;

* projects with non-returnable external funds – 1.7 billion lei;

* social assistance – 305 million lei;

* investments – 1.2 billion lei;

* loan repayment – 877 million lei.
