They were arrested, policemen from the Athens Security Directorate, three Greeks, one aged 16, two others aged 17, and a 16-year-old Albanian accused as a member gang and, as the case may be, robbery with an accomplice, causing dangerous bodily harm, violating the Weapons and Substances Act.

According to ELAS, last Sunday evening, January 29, in the park of New Smyrna, the defendants suddenly surrounded a 15-year-old Ukrainian and stabbed him in the right thigh, while punching him all over his body.

Immediately after that, they took his mobile phone, a bag with personal belongings and a sum of money and disappeared, and the 15-year-old was taken to a children’s hospital.

During searches conducted by the police in the houses where the defendants live in Nea Smyrni and Ampelokipi, among other things, they found and seized: a penknife, the clothes they were wearing during the attack, a bicycle that they used as a means of escape. , two mobile phones and a printed photograph of a 15-year-old.

Those arrested must be brought before the competent prosecutor.
