The case is under the jurisdiction of the Domestic Violence Department of the Larisinsky District Department of Internal Affairs, whose officers began detaining a 40-year-old man after a complaint filed by his wife.
The 40-year-old man is charged with, among other things, rape, bodily harm to vulnerable persons, domestic violence and unlawful violence. According to a complaint by a 33-year-old, her husband raped her early on Sunday morning, causing her to temporarily leave their home in the village of Larisa.
When she returned, the 40-year-old man locked her up for more than half an hour and did not let her into the house. Shortly before 6 a.m., he unlocked the door and let her in, then raped her a second time.
