
The city police are investigating two identical robberies that took place in the last few hours in Thessaloniki at convenience stores.
The first one took place yesterday on Sunday, around 22:00, on M. Alexandru Street in Stavropolis, where two unknown men immobilized an employee of the enterprise under the threat of using a knife, seizing 400 euros from the cash register.
Two perpetrators of the second robbery, committed at 7 am on Monastiriou Street, west of Thessaloniki, threatened an employee with a knife, while the loot in this case also amounted to about 400 euros.
The police have already launched an investigation, studying the footage from surveillance cameras.
