
Denmark, the reigning trophy holders, managed to qualify for the finals of the World Men’s Handball Championship held in Poland and Sweden after defeating Spain 26-23 in the semi-finals of the competition.

If the first half clearly belonged to the Danes, the score was 15-10, then in the second half the Spaniards were more dangerous and dominated, not even managing to equalize the score.
Denmark will face the winner of France and Sweden in the men’s World Cup final on Sunday, who will also play in the second semi-final on Friday.
The small final will also take place on January 29.
In the 5-8 seed matches, Germany defeated Egypt in overtime, 35-34, and Norway won the match against Hungary, 33-25.
