AC Milan led Lecce 2-0 but came back to equalize in the Serie A matchday 18. Cipriani Tetarushanu was back in the starting line-up for Stefano Pioli.

Lecce opened the scoring in the 3rd minute, after an own goal by Theo Fernandez, and in the 23rd it was already 2:0, Basirotto scored. Tetarushanu was not at fault for any of the goals.

In the second half, first through Leao in the 58th minute, then through Calabria in the 70th minute, “Milan” showed that it can fight back, but could not score a third time.

The Romanian goalkeeper was rated 5.5 by the Italian press, but felt he was unable to contribute to Lecce’s two goals.

Stefano Pioli’s side remain second in Serie A with 38 points, nine behind leaders Napoli.

Inter Milan beat Verona 1-0 with Lautaro Martinez scoring the only goal in the 3rd minute.Simone Inzaghi’s side have 37 points, level with Juventus and just one point behind AC Milan.
