His series “Wednesday” Netflix renewed for a second season.

The eight-episode season 1, dedicated to the daughter of The Addams Family, premiered on November 23 and was announced shortly thereafter to have set the record for most viewed English-language series on the platform.

It has since become the second-biggest English-language TV season on Netflix, with over 1.2 billion hours watched in its first 28 days. The role of Wednesday in the horror comedy series is played by actress Jenna Ortega.

According to the description of the first season, the plot focuses on Wednesday’s years at the Nevermore Academy.

She herself is trying to control her special abilities and put an end to the monstrous bloody flurry that has spread terror in the small town where she lives.

In addition, she tries to unravel the supernatural mystery her parents were involved in 25 years ago as she struggles to make sense of the new and complicated relationship she developed in Nevermore.
