Halvor Egner Granerud won the prestigious Tour de Four Trampolines, the highlight of the Ski Jumping World Cup season, with the Norwegian winning the final stage on Friday in Bischofshofen, Austria.

A winner in Oberstdorf and Garmisch (Germany), Granerud finished 2nd in Innsbruck and still had a simple formality to complete. On Friday, the Norwegian defeated the Slovenian Anze Lanishek and the Pole David Kubatsky.

At the age of 26, Granerud set a new record with 1191.2 points in the general classification. Kubatsky (1158.2) and Lanisek (1129) completed the podium.

The last competition was won by the Norwegian jumper Anders Jacobsen in 2007.
