Prince Harry’s recent revelations, taken from an interview to be published and his autobiography “Spare,” which is expected in a few days, drew the ire of British tabloids on Friday, News.ro reported.

“Reconciliation? But you’ve sold your soul, Harry,” reads the Daily Express cover alongside a picture of Harry and his brother William.

Meghan Markle’s husband expressed his desire to “reconnect” with his family on Monday in an excerpt from an interview that will air on CNN on Sunday.

But this call for calm has been accompanied all week by explosive statements from the man who left the royal family to settle in California.

Several newspapers have published pages in recent days from his memoir, “Spare,” which is expected on January 10.

King Charles’ eldest son spoke in the book about the incident between him and his brother William, saying they had a violent row about Meghan, during which the Prince of Wales allegedly knocked him to the ground.

The Daily Mirror shares the same conclusion as the Daily Express: “It’s all over now,” wrote the tabloid with a front-page photo of the two brothers as children, side by side in their school uniforms.

Prince Harry’s controversial new comments in his autobiography

In new extracts from his book, published on Thursday, Harry accuses the entire royal family of being distant. He talks about the scandalous photos of him in a Nazi officer’s suit when he was 20, claiming that William and Kate encouraged him to choose the suit.

He also tells how he learned of his mother Lady Diana’s death, how he objected to his father’s remarriage to Camilla, whom he saw as an “evil stepmother”, claims to have killed 25 Taliban fighters while a Royal Air Force helicopter pilot in Afghanistan and admits to having tried cocaine.

At this point, tabloid The Sun wrote on the front page of Friday’s edition: “Harry: tried cocaine and weed.” And to mention the week’s other revelations: “He got drunk and lost his virginity in the pub”, “His fight with Wills and Meg and Kate’s showdown”, “Army furious at his revelation about 25 Taliban killed”.

The more sober Daily Telegraph ran a headline about his stepmother: ‘Please don’t marry Camilla’, referring to the prince’s plea to his father, not forgetting to mention the prince’s other revelations at the bottom of the page.

Harry also wrote that Meghan considers Kate Middleton, William’s wife, “the brain of the baby.” For the newspaper, Harry’s memoir “exceeds the palace’s worst fears.”

Visibly tired of Harry’s incessant revelations, the Daily Mail implores him to “Oh, spare us!”, a pun on the title of his book (“Spare”), and calls him a “man-infant” who “undoubtedly threw the toys out of the royal pram”.
