“At 01:14 at the Prague airport, it was reported that the flight from Great Britain to Romania was diverted due to the birth. About 12 minutes later, it turned out that both the mother and the newborn are fine,” explained Michal Prohazka from the airport’s medical service.

Soon after that, the plane landed in Prague, the woman and the newborn were transferred to a clinic in the Czech capital, and the flight continued to Bucharest.

“I am glad that everything is fine with the mother and the child, and I wish them good health,” wrote airport director Jiri Pos on his Twitter.
