Tourists from Israel, Great Britain, as well as from other parts of the world arrived at the ice hotel in the mountains of Fegarash, built from blocks taken from Lake Balea. The price of one night’s accommodation is from 100 to 150 euros for a double room, and there are no more places for Christmas and New Year, writes news.ro.

The Bâlea Lac Ice Hotel, which opened on December 20, has already accommodated the first tourists, and on Christmas Eve the entire hotel is occupied.

Prices for a double room range from €100 to €150 per night, and between Christmas and New Year, a double room costs €125 per night. In the evenings of December 28, December 31 and January 1, the entire hotel is occupied.

The temperature in the rooms of the ice hotel ranges from 0 to -2 degrees Celsius. The room has an ice table for luggage and a lamp with a switch and a bed for 2 people.

In the rooms, two curtains are used as doors, which can be closed and which separate the space of the restaurant from the room. They don’t have sockets.

This popular accommodation, especially among foreign tourists, also has a restaurant, which this year received a nomination for the Restaurant and Bar Awards 2023, organized by the British lifestyle publication LUXlife, as announced by the hotel representatives on social networks.
