The 22-year-old, who was training at Olympique Marseille, was killed in the 14th arrondissement of Marseille.

“He will leave a great void and will forever be one of ours. All our thoughts and condolences to his family,” the Aubagne club said on social media.

Since the beginning of the year, 32 people have been shot dead in the Bouches-du-Rhône department, mostly in Marseille, most often in the context of drug trafficking.
