As reported by Libertatea Cuvantului de la Cernăuţi, the head of the Chernivtsi regional military administration, Ruslan Zaparanyuk, said that the Romanian “neighbors” cannot ensure the passage of more trucks through the Siret customs. Zaparanyuk also stated that some truck drivers prefer to stand in line at the Siret Customs and not use other checkpoints, because “they are paid extra for stops at the border.”
