Inmates at a prison near Barcelona have made thousands of clay figurines of defecating world leaders and celebrities, according to a tradition in the Spanish region of Catalonia, Reuters reported.

Originally the “caganer” (pooper) were figurines representing shepherds or peasants caught in the act of defecating during the nativity scene, but in recent years the tradition has expanded to include famous figures.
