Director’s upcoming film Denis Villeneuve officially completed the production phase with the main character Timothy Salame share a behind-the-scenes photo on your Instagram profile to celebrate the end of filming.

“Dune 2 is complete,” Salame captioned the photo. And he continues: “with his father in the desert” (his father, Mark Salamet, is also in the picture). In the background are sand dunes.

Earlier, the Oscar nominee shared the first frame from the filming. Production took place in Budapest, Hungary, Italy and the United Arab Emirates.

According to the official production description from Warner Bros. and the legendary Dune: Part Two explores the mythical journey of Paul Atreides as he reunites with Chani (Zendaya) and the Fremen on a path of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family.

In the sequel, Salame reunites with Zendaya, Javier Bardem, Oscar Aizal, Josh Brolin, Rebecca Ferguson, Dave Bautista and Stellan Skarsgård. The cast also includes Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, Christopher Walken, Lea Seydoux and Suheila Yacoub.

Salameh praised his co-star Zendaya as Chani, who is now starring in the sequel. “It’s amazing. She’s just as incredible as in the first film, but now her acting is even richer,” Salameh recently told Variety about Zendaya. “And she’s like a sister to me. I’m so grateful to be able to call her a colleague.” on the film, a sister and a friend.
