
​ANRE announced on Tuesday that it has imposed fines of 2.4 million lei on electricity distribution network operators for violations when connecting renewable energy consumers to electricity distribution networks.
As a result of numerous petitions regarding the connection of consumers to electricity distribution networks, ANRE announces that it has signed control mandates with electricity distribution operators to verify compliance with the rules for connection to the existing point of consumption by installations for the production of electricity from renewable sources, which aimed to:
- observance of a deadline of no more than 2 working days, from the date of registration of the message and complete documentation, to transfer the invoice to the applicant for the payment of the tariff for updating the certificate of accession;
- complying with a deadline of a maximum of 5 working days from the date of registration of the notice and complete documentation for replacement or, depending on the circumstances, installation of the meter for connecting the power plant to the voltage for the trial period;
- compliance with the deadline of no more than 3 working days, from the date of submission by the customer of the acceptance protocol for commissioning, for updating/issuing and transferring the act of accession to the customer;
- compliance with a deadline of a maximum of 2 working days from the date of renewal/issuance of the connection certificate, for the final connection of electrical installations related to the existing point of consumption to which installations for the production of electricity from renewable sources are installed. sources are connected.
After the control actions were completed, non-compliance with legal obligations was detected by all verified distribution operators, and the following fines were applied for violations:
- Electricity distribution Romania: 400,000 lei
- Oltenia Energy Distribution: 400,000 lei
- Delgaz Grid: 400,000 lei
- Muntenia E-Distribution: 400,000 lei
- E-Distribution Banat: 400,000 lei
- E-Distribution Dobrogea: 400,000 lei
The authority also emphasized that it will continue to monitor compliance with a set of mandatory norms established for distribution operators that directly affect the activities of consumers.
