“Therefore, when we came to the minimum wage, we started a benefit or an indirect reduction of labor taxation through this benefit of 200 lei of the minimum wage. According to some government sources, work is underway on a project according to which employers who raise wages by 450 lei will be exempted from taxes by 200 lei.

“This will be a voluntary event. This will amount to a salary of 3,000 to 5,000 lei. Those who increase their salary by 450 will have 200 lei tax-free,” the sources said.
