Iconic singer Tina Turner, 83, has paid tribute to her “beloved son” Ronnie Turner, who died on Thursday at the age of 62, saying in an online post that he had left the world “too soon”, The Guardian reports.
Ronnie Turner, also a musician, had health problems.
On Friday, Tina Turner posted a black and white photo in memory of her son on Instagram. “Ronnie, you left the world too soon. Grief-stricken, I close my eyes and think of you, my beloved son,” the legendary singer wrote.
Ronnie Turner was the son of a singer from her ex-husband Ike Turner. He sang with the band Manufactured Funk and starred in the 1993 film What’s Love Got to Do With It, a biopic about his mother.
Her eldest son, Craig Turner, whom she had with musician Raymond Hill, committed suicide in 2018, writes News.ro.
