
President Klaus Iohannis is on a working visit to Greece on Friday, writes News.ro. The head of state met with the Prime Minister of the Greek Republic Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the Greek Prime Minister’s dog Peanut also appeared in the photos from the official reception.
According to the Presidential Administration, “Peanuts” is a favorite of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. The dog was adopted in 2021 by the Prime Minister of Greece on the occasion of the International Day of Homeless Animals and has access everywhere in the residence, even appearing in official photos from receptions of the Prime Minister.
On Friday, President Klaus Iohannis began a working visit to the Hellenic Republic, where he will meet with President Katerina Sakellaropoulou and Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
As reported in the Presidential Administration, special emphasis during the visit will be made on infrastructural and interconnected projects, including in the energy sector, aimed at reducing dependence on Russian gas and increasing the energy security of the two countries.
