The mayor of the capital, Nikushor Dan, announced on Facebook that on December 7, there will be a “day of silence” at the Christmas market on Constitution Square – from 12:00 to 16:00, the music will be turned off, it will come from one point, and the lights will not be on in different corners.
Nikushor Dan says that the city hall will organize a “day of silence” on Constitution Square for children with special needs:
- “On this day, the Christmas market will be adapted for children with sensory disabilities who cannot be in a crowded environment with noise, music and light games.
- Thus, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the music will be turned off, it will be played from one point, and the lights will not be turned on in different corners.
- At the same time, during the time allotted for them, children with disabilities can also visit the fair’s attractions for free: an ice rink, a carousel, and a Ferris wheel. Accompanying children must present a disability card.
- To facilitate access for small visitors, there will be teams from the capital city hall at the fair, who will respond to the demands of parents so that children have as pleasant a time as possible.
- At the same time, if visitors to the event on December 7 need special help, we ask parents to call 021.9524 before arrival so that together we can find the best solutions for them.”
