
The capital’s mayor’s office is preparing for the December 1st parade and the NATO ministerial meeting, both of which will take place this week in Bucharest.
The Metropolitan Road Brigade clarified the traffic restrictions:
- from November 25 at 08:00 to December 1 at 17:00: closure of the alveolus, next to the STB station on Piaţa Arcul de Triumf, in the direction of traffic from Bdul Mareşal Constantin Prezan to Piaţa Presei Libere, for the location of the system sound;
From November 30, 2 p.m. to December 1, 6 p.m.:
- restriction of voluntary parking/parking in the road extension. Kiselev Pavlo Dmytrovych (rond Kiseleff) near the monument to the infantrymen;
- parking restrictions on the street To teachers;
- blocking traffic on the road. Pavla D. Kiselev and adjacent streets (between Piaţa Victoriei, Piaţa Arcului de Triumf and Piaţa Presei Libere, with the clarification that on the passage from Piaţa Presei Libere traffic will be allowed only in the direction of Piaţa Montreal);
- traffic closure on Bdul Mareşal Constantin Prezan, between Charles de Gaulle Square and Arc de Triomphe Square, as well as on adjacent streets;
- blocking of traffic on the street Alexandru Constantinescu, between Bdul Mărăşti and Triumphal Square;
- blocking traffic on Bdul Mareşal Alexandru Averescu, between Bdul Mărăşti and Piaţa Arcul de Triumf, as well as on adjacent streets;
- blocking of traffic on the street Arch. Iona Minku, str. Barbu Delavrancea, Str. Nikolay Ionescu, str. Adi Endre, str. sergeant Vasile Dorobantsu, str. Docent, str. Mahatma Gandhi and on the street Petefi Sandor;
- blocking of traffic on the street Clucerului, between st. Arch of Ion Minku and Bdul Marechal to Alexander Averescu, as well as adjacent streets to Bdul Ion Mihalace;
- blocking of traffic on the street Gheorghe Bratianu, between St. Arch of Iona Minku and st. Docentilor, as well as the adjacent streets to Bdul Aviatorilor;
- blocking of traffic on the street Uruguay, between Bdul Aviatorilor and Sos. Kiselyova and adjacent streets in the direction of two boulevards;
- blocking of traffic on the street Mint and on Primo Nebiolo Avenue;
During November 30 from 09:00 to December 1 at 19:00 traffic will be closed on lanes I, II and III on the Arc de Triomphe square, in the direction from the Presa Libere square to the Victory square, from Primo Nebiolo avenue to the Arc de Triomphe and on St. Alexander Konstantinescu, in both directions, for placement/dismantling of the official stand;
Pedestrian traffic is prohibited on December 1 from 07:00 to 13:00, ago:
– on the road. Kiselyova between str. Primo Nebiolo and Triumphal Square, except for guests;
– on the street Alexandru Constantinescu, between Bdul Mărăşti and Triumphal Square;
– on Bdul Mareşal Constantin Prezan, between Charles de Gaulle Square and Arc de Triomphe Square, on the sidewalk on the right side in the direction of Arc de Triomphe Square, except for media representatives;
– in King Mihai I Park between Michael Jackson Alley (section between Triumphal Square and the area of the access alley to the Village Museum) – Japanese Garden Alley – Aventura Parc Alley and Konstantin Prezana Boulevard;
* restrictions on pedestrian access, namely:
– on the road. Kiselyova, between Triumphal Arch Square and St. Uruguay;
– on Bdul Mareşal Alexandru Averescu, between Bdul Mărăşti and Piaţa Cul de Triumf;
– on Bdul Mareşal Constantin Prezan (on the sidewalk on the left, starting from Piaţa Charles de Gaulle) from St. Mr. Gheorghe Schonzu to the Arc de Triomphe.
