
OUR Taylor Swift won the American Music Awards (AMA) on Sunday night at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
The popular singer-songwriter has received a total of six awards, including the Artist of the Year award. Bad Bunny, the artist with the most nominations (8 in total), has only received two awards, as have Beyoncé, Harry Styles, BTS, Morgan Wallen, Kendrick Lamar.

The evening was also full of tributes to the titans of the music industry. Smokey Robinson welcomed on stage Lionel Richie, who had already received an AMA award. Following the video tribute, Richie thanked his family, friends, and manager during his acceptance speech, talking about his long career in music.

Stevie Wonder and Charlie Puth then performed some of Ritchie’s biggest hits such as “Say You, Say Me”, “Easy”, “Brick House” and finally “We Are the World”. They were accompanied on the last song by Melissa Etheridge, Yola, Jimmy Allen and others.
The evening was hosted by actor and comedian Wayne Brady. Pink paid tribute to Olivia Newton-John with the powerful song “Hopeless Devoted to You”. A little earlier, Brazilian singer Anitta and rapper Missy Elliot performed the song “Lobby”.
Country queen Carrie Underwood appeared from above with “Crazy Angels” to give Cardi B the lead role.
