So, if the local elections were held next Sunday, 38.2% would vote for the National Liberal Party candidates for Iaşa city council, 24.4% would vote for PSD, 15.0% for USR, while AUR would meet 12, 2%, and PMP 5.7% parameters.

Also, in the parliamentary election voting, if these elections were held next Sunday, 35.6% would vote for the PNL, 22.9% would join the PSD, while the USR would get 15.5%, the AUR 14.1 %, and PMP 7.1% of the vote. In addition, 46% of Iasi residents would vote if the elections were held next Sunday.

A poll conducted at the level of Iași City Hall shows that, under any scenario, Mihai Kirika will win the election race with values ranging from 46 to more than 50% of those who expressed their voting option.

The current president of the Iași County Council Kostel Alexe has 37-38% of the preferences of the residents of Iași, which sums up the following two positions.

The survey was conducted on a sample of 900 questionnaires, data were collected from September 29 to October 10. The research method was a sociological survey based on a questionnaire, according to a stratified multi-stage random sample, with representativeness of significant socio-demographic categories (gender, age, neighborhood), the research method was a face-to-face interview. The maximum permissible error is 3.3%.

The survey was presented by the chairman of the PNL of Iasi, MP Alexandru Muraru.

“The study shows that the PNL dominates the local political scene and is marginalized in the preferences of the people of Iaşa regarding the local and parliamentary elections. The PNL would win the election by a margin over the political rivals, adding in both the local council and parliamentary elections a score that effectively means the sum of the 2nd and 3rd places. So PSD and USR have the same in Iasi as PNL is one of the options for the residents of Iasi. This is a conclusion that shows that all our administrative projects and communication are valued. The poll is also a barometer for Prime Minister Nicolae Chuke and for the PNL in the act of national governance. It can be said that the PNL has succeeded in decisively consolidating in Iasi two years after the elections, two years before 2024!” said to Alexander Murar.
