Five people arrested on the sidelines of the events that broke out yesterday Thursday, after the end of the mobilization on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the uprising, were transferred to the sole court of Thessaloniki for cases of administrative offenses with a spontaneous procedure Polytechnic.

According to the case file, they were not involved in the incidents, but knives were found in their possession, in connection with which they were arrested. The prosecutor opened a criminal case against him for illegal possession of weapons and sent him to the autoforos, from where the court session is expected to be postponed.

These are men aged 21, 22, 34, 39 and 48, including one foreigner (of Albanian origin), who did not have a legal stay in the country and, therefore, the process of administrative deportation will be initiated.

Meanwhile, Thessaloniki Police Headquarters issued a statement regarding yesterday’s incidents, arrests and arrests. The report said 14,000 people took part in the marches.

In addition, as a result of the attacks, 2 police officers were injured, who were taken to 424 GOS. for providing first aid in case of damage to a service motorcycle. The preliminary investigation is being conducted by the Thessaloniki Security Directorate.”
