Konstantin Dean confirmed that FRH will submit a memorandum to the EHF

In an interview with Antena Sport, Constantin Dean, president of the Romanian Handball Federation, finally confirmed that he would submit a memorandum after Florentin Pera’s team lost a match against Montenegro.

“At 19:00 I will have a press conference. We will approach the European Federation (not EFH) as an affiliated member, which will show that we want much more respect and much more professionalism from the referees and much more quality at this level from the judges. refereeing.

Bad refereeing, a lot of mistakes, more than 30 mistakes from both sides, from which we suffered a lot more, at least at the end of the game when … a double dribble, a gag was not sanctioned and from which another goal resulted. It was too late to correct the referee’s error.

I do not know what decision the European Federation will make, it is clear that such arbitration has no place at the European Championship. They need to be much more careful, pay much more attention to them in the process of judging and selecting judges for these competitions.

(No – can we save something else?) Absolutely nothing, the result is the same, it cannot be changed, no matter how justified the note.

What we can do is to draw their attention to the fact that these arbitrations should not be repeated.

(No – will this note be from you?) Yes, it will be, I am already in discussions with the European Federation.

And they felt the level of judging, things are obvious to everyone.” – said Konstantin Ding.
