The man is accused of beating his commander, a lieutenant colonel in the Moscow region, and insulting him during his military service duties, lawyer Anri Tsiskarishvili told the Russian news agency TASS.

The incident happened during the training, and a video recording of the quarrel between the mobilized and the commander appeared on the Telegram channel, then on social networks.

The soldiers who were caught in the footage complained that instead of combat training, they were taught to march in formation.

According to the investigation, Oleksandr Leshkov now has a criminal record for expressing his dissatisfaction with the way recruits are trained, as well as with the equipment and training they undergo, “in an offensive manner and with obscene language.”

During the quarrel, a Russian soldier allegedly blew cigarette smoke in front of Lieutenant Colonel Mazanov, the commander tried to push him, and a disgruntled private stabbed him in the chest with a knife.

Partial mobilization in Russia took place from September 21 to October 28 by order of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who claimed that 318,000 reservists had been called up.
