PSD leader Marcel Ciolacu said on Antena 3 on Sunday that it would be better for Nikuzor Dan to resign and let the people of Bucharest find a deputy mayor, as he is not in a position to administratively manage the Romanian capital, News.ro reported.
“Are you interested in the warmth of the people of Bucharest on November 10? Do you wake up in November? Call Cholak. This is a mismatch, in September it has a surplus of 200 million lei and is asking for help from the government. We will have a discussion in the coalition, if the prime minister wants to have this discussion, it is not within my authority,” Çolaku said after the capital’s mayor asked him to talk to the finance minister to solve the heat problem in Bucharest. .
The PSD leader continued: “From my point of view, I stand by my opinion that the best thing is to resign so that the people of Bucharest can find a deputy mayor. He does not have the ability to administratively manage the capital of Romania, he does not have the necessary knowledge.”
“As for my PNL partners, I urge them to admit that they were wrong to support Nikusor Dan,” Çolaku said.
Last week, HotNews.ro wrote that ELCEN received three lawsuits in court against Termoenergetica, a hot water and heat supplier in Bucharest, for debts of 535 million lei.
Thus, ELCEN can at any time block the accounts of “Thermoenergetika”, which may lead to the insolvency of “Stolichna Meriya” company. Thermoenergetics has a total of almost 800 million lei of debt to ELCEN.
Nikushor Dan appealed to the government to allocate the necessary money to the municipality to pay off the debts accumulated in Termoenergetica.
Then Marcel Cholaku answered him ironically, wishing him “further success.”
