“THEN Paul Fissas he lifted his blouse and showed me the wound. βHe stabbed me,β he told me,β testified a DIAS police officer who saw him at the five-member Court of Criminal Appeals. George Rupakias “argue” with the musician.
Since almost all the positions of the defendants have been clarified, the appeal continues today test of the Golden Dawn.
The witness was Christos Deligiannis, a police officer who was part of a group of eight DIAS policemen who were ordered to go to Keratsini on the night of Pavlos Fissas’ assassination.
As he testified, they were given the signal to go to the Coralli canteen because “there were 50 people dressed in black with bats.” When they arrived at the scene, as the police officer testified, they saw a group of 20-30 people dressed in black. There, someone posing as a policeman told the leader of his group that “some anarchists got into a fight with the gold diggers” and “okay, that’s it.” The witness testified that he approached the assembled group and asked them to disperse, but “no one paid any attention to me.”
Mr. Deligiannis testified that when a group of people dressed in black ran, he followed them along with his colleague on foot.
According to him, at 62 Panagi Tsaldari Street, “we saw a crowd gathered.” There was outrage. I saw how Pavlos Fissa and Rupakias argued. There were 4-5 people behind Rupaki. I will clap. We got the globes. I went to arrest one behind Rupakias. Then everyone broke up. Rupakias went to his car. Fissas tried to attack him, and I rushed to stop him. Then Fissas lifted his blouse and showed me the wound – he said: “Not me! (he wanted to stop). He hit me.” A colleague came and saw the knife that Rupakias had thrown near the car. We reported that we had a possible attacker who stabbed.”
Earlier, Immediate Action Police officer Konstantinos Kotsovos testified in court, who, according to him, when he arrived at the scene in a patrol car, “a stabbing had already taken place and someone had been detained.” According to the witness, at the scene they saw “Pavlos Fyssas lying, and his girlfriend was holding him.”
The witness was asked many questions about the order received and whether the Center reported a collision involving gold miners or a fan. The policeman said that he realized that the fight was of a fan nature, because of the football match that preceded it.
