In the first 12 hours of Sunday, strong phenomena will be localized mainly in Western, Eastern and Northern Greece, as well as in several island parts of the Aegean Sea. In the second 12 hours of Sunday, the eastern and southern mainland, Macedonia, the islands of the Central, Eastern and Southern Aegean and Crete will be significantly affected.
On Sunday, the phenomena will be intense at times in Thessaloniki and Athens. As for the Meteorological Service’s five-level Regional Precipitation Index (RPI), precipitation is expected to be Category 3 on Saturday and Category 4 on Sunday, so citizens should be aware.
