The reigning champion was almost perfect against the Italian, who is ranked 23rd in the world, and won 6-0, 6-3.

For a place in the final of the Paris-Bercy competition, Nole (6th favorite) will fight with the winner of the match between the Greek Stephanos Tsitsipas (5) and the American Tommy Paul (31 ATP).
