Novak Djokovic defeated Maxime Cressy at the Masters in Paris

The tournament’s sixth seed defeated the Paris-born player (who represents the US) 7-6(1), 6-4 after an hour and 44 minutes of play.

Nole made the only break in the match in the tenth game of the second set.

The ex-world leader will play in the 1/8 finals with the winner of the match between Russian Karen Khachanov (19 ATP, winner of the 2018 draw) and Swiss Marc-Andrea Hüsler (61 ATP).
