The unbeaten run in the Super League continues for Anton Petrea after Chindia Tirgovishte drew 2-2 with FC Botosani in the first leg of the Super League round of 16.

Chindia opened the scoring through Popadyuk (‘3), FC Botosani took the lead thanks to goals scored by Mailat (’32, penalty) and Kamara (’79), but the men from Dambovitsa equalized through Popa (’90+4).

In the Super League, Chindia managed four wins and a draw after replacing Toni Petrea on the technical bench (they also beat Steaua in the Romanian Cup play-offs, but suffered a surprise group defeat against Okna Mures).
