
A chase between two underage children near a school in the center of Heraklion on Wednesday afternoon (10/26/2010) ended at a police station as one of the children, aged 13, allegedly threatened an 11-year-old student with a jackknife.
According to ERT, the incident allegedly occurred between a 2nd grade high school student and a 6th grade elementary school student, which the 11-year-old girl and her mother subsequently reported to the Heraklion 1st Police Department.
According to the girl, a 13-year-old teenager pursued her and threatened her with a folding knife. The complaint resulted in the subsequent arrest of a minor high school student and his mother for neglecting to supervise a minor.
A criminal case was initiated against them and they were released on the oral order of the prosecutor.
