Police in Pitesti came forward and began investigations after a 9th-grade student at the municipality’s College of Economics said the principal, who is also a religion teacher, tried to sexually assault her, News.ro reported.
“During the evening of October 13 of this year, as a result of information that appeared on the Internet, police officers from the Criminal Investigation Bureau of Pitesti were notified, ex officio, and are conducting checks to establish the actual situation and take the necessary legal measures,” police representatives sent of Argesh district regarding the incident that happened in an educational institution in Pitesti.
According to local media, a 9th-grade student at the “Maria Teiulianu” College of Economics in Pitesti complained to the school’s management that the religion teacher, who will also be her principal, tried to sexually assault her during a sports class at the school.
The management of the educational unit and the school inspectorate, in turn, started an investigation in this case.
