Oscar nominee Kristin Stewart impresses in the new video released by the Maison of Chanel for the Spring/Summer 2023 ‘Ready to Wear’ collection.
In a black-and-white video directed by Ines and Vinood, the actress, who recently appeared in Spencer and Future Crimes, talks about the importance of déjà vu when wearing the brand.
The short film opens at the iconic cinema Le Champo after the screening of the film Last Year in Marianske Lazne. On set, Stewart transitions from actress to artist. “We are living in such a successful period of growth. It’s fascinating, you know, because our identity is these evolving works of art (…) mythologies that define us, that unite us, we must create. Anything is possible,” says Stewart as an artist.
And he adds: “It is no longer important to know who you are and what you want from life. I believe that it is important to “burn” the beautiful yesterday, every day, so that you can start over.”
The actress has been a muse and ambassador for Chanel since 2013. In addition, he has collaborated with Karl Lagerfeld, whose legacy is the theme of the 2023 Met Gala.
