Buckingham Palace did not want to comment on the information.

This date marks the 70th anniversary of the coronation of the late sovereign Elizabeth II, the ceremony of which took place on June 2, 1953.

The coronation ceremony will take place in Westminster Abbey. The ceremony will be smaller and more modest than that of Queen Elizabeth II. Representatives of other (religious) communities will also be invited.

More than 8,000 guests from 129 countries attended the Queen’s coronation. Special platforms have been created for this. For security reasons, the church can now accommodate no more than 2,000 people.

In June 2023, King Charles III will be 74 years old. Thus, he will become the oldest crowned monarch in the history of Great Britain. (News.ro)
