
The total number of her cases reached 80 monkeypox in our country, according to EODY weekly update.
It is noted that eight new cases have been reported in seven days, since last week EODY announced only 72 cases in our country.
All patients were male and their mean age was 36 years (19 to 61 years). Twenty of them reported traveling abroad during the incubation period of the disease (25%).
The time distribution of laboratory-confirmed cases by week of onset of symptoms (ISO week) is shown in the graph below.
It is noted that reported laboratory-confirmed cases have already recovered or are recovering in generally good clinical condition.
