Lefteris Charitos (pictured) was elected as the new president of the Hellenic Film Academy after another general assembly, which also appointed a new board of directors for the academy. The Greek director, who in recent years has come to prominence with the television success of Wild Bees, has succeeded Giorgos Tseberopoulos while with him on the Board of Directors. these will be Yuri Averof, Eleni Kosifidou, Michalis Constantatos, Zaharias Mavroidis, Vicki Misha and Marissa Triantafyllidou.

(…) Katerina Evagelatos will be at the helm of the Athens-Epidavros festival for another three years, following the extension of her term as artistic director of the institution, which was accepted by the Minister of Culture, Lina Mendonis. The Canadian musician and his band have already released the first song of the album, which is called “Love Earth” and is a hymn to the beauty of nature.
