Gabriela Lee Talaba (140 WTA) lost after two hours and 14 minutes the match to Reka-Luka Jani (Hungary, 104 WTA – finalist of the WTA 125 tournament in Bucharest), score 5-7, 6-3, 6-0.
Ana Bohdan (favorite 6, match with Laura Pigosi) and Iryna Begu (favorite 3, will meet with Victoria Tomova) directly enter the main draw of the tournament in Parma.
The Parma Ladies Open takes place from September 26 to October 1 (main draw), has a total prize fund of $251,750, is played on clay and is part of the WTA 250 category. Maria Sakkari (6 WTA) is the main favorite of the competition. .
