He made two proposals to the government coalition to intervene in the market, the second of which was accepted.

1. The option of compensation for the price per cubic meter or cubic meter.

2. The option that the Coalition ultimately supported: price caps and a ban on the export of certain types of wood and wood products. The decision will be taken at the next meeting of the Government.

“I hope that, at least on the firewood market, these interventions will have positive consequences for citizens, and together with the relevant ministries, we will find a solution for the furniture industry,” he added.
