
He was arrested yesterday (September 9) at dawn in Pigeon DIAS police officers charged the 21-year-old man with co-manufacturing and possession of explosives, trespassing and violating the Weapons, Ammunition, Explosives and Explosive Devices Act.
According to ELAS, police officers of the DIAS group found the 21-year-old teenager in the Peristeri area after searches and, despite his attempt to escape, immobilized him.
At the scene and on the roadway, 2 nylon bags with a can of flammable liquid and 2 improvised incendiary explosive devices were found and seized, each of which consisted of a can of flammable liquid, to which 2 cans of butane and firecrackers were attached.
The arrested person, with a case filed by the Attica Security Directorate’s Sub-Directory for Combating Violence at Sports Venues, was brought before the District Attorney of Athens.
