As it became known from the police, it all started shortly before six o’clock in the afternoon, when motorcyclists from the DI.AS Serres team signaled the vehicle to stop for an inspection.
When the police tried to drive up, the driver increased speed, crashed into one of the cars, fortunately, no one was hurt and he managed to escape. A chase ensued at Egnatia Odos, where the car broke through the toll barriers.
Finally, the police managed to stop the vehicle in Stavroupoli, Thessaloniki. The driver and passenger have been taken to the Serra Police Department for further police investigation.
