
A 70-year-old man fired at four minors who entered the courtyard of his house in Alepochori, injuring two of them.
The incident took place at 2 am when an elderly man noticed the presence of four people in the courtyard of his house on Alepochori beach.
According to him, thinking they were thieves, he took out a shotgun and started shooting at them, wounding a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old teenager, who were joined by another 16-year-old and a 17-year-old … old.
The children were taken to a hospital in Athens, where they are not in danger.
A 70-year-old man was arrested and is being held in custody to be taken to the prosecutor’s office with a case filed against him.
The West Attica Security Sub-Directorate is conducting a preliminary investigation into the incident.
