Vince Gilligan and the possibility of another spin-off

Shortly before the airing of the final episode of Better Call Saul, creator Vince Gilligan confirmed that his next project will not be set in the Breaking Bad universe, but returning to it in the future is out of the question.

“I can definitely imagine a comeback,” Gilligan told Rolling Stone magazine. “I would like to do this to continue this story. But without naming names, I look at some of the worlds, universes, stories that I like – whether it’s television or cinema. But now, whether I have more room for growth or not — and I probably do — I feel like it’s time to do something new.”
