On the Disney+ platform, Prey recently appeared, a film that continues the universe of the legendary “Hunter”, created in the 1980s. This time we are in the early 18th century, somewhere in the vast northern plains of America. There, a young Comanche girl dreams of becoming a great hunter, but the setting isn’t exactly… inspiring. Her chance, however, will not be long in coming when a mysterious, terribly deadly predator appears in the forests of the area, exterminating animals and people. The director of the television series The Boys and Black Mirror, Dan Trachtenberg, put together a really exciting chase through the American woods here, with some very well choreographed action scenes and lots of splashing.

Morfyd Clarke just fainted when she found out that she got the central role of Galadriel in the upcoming TV series The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power, which she revealed in a recent interview. In particular, the British actress was at the Toronto Film Festival, at a press conference, when she learned the news and her emotions were so great that … she collapsed on the panel. “Luckily, I got caught by a great security guard,” said Clarke, whose stock is expected to skyrocket after her appearance on the highly anticipated series.

The Ertflix platform recently made two great additions to their already interesting collection of Greek short films. The reason is initially in Konstantinas Kotzamanis’ multi-award-winning “Electric Swan”, which, with his creative imagination, sends us to the building at Libertador Avenue, 2050. There, strong vibrations cause nausea, which disorients the inhabitants. Less creative, but just as successful, is Alexandra Matthau’s Summer Place. Mary Mina excels as the young woman who becomes our glimpse into the almost surreal world of the oligarchs who have flooded Limassol, Cyprus in recent years. All this until an unexpected meeting gives new meaning to her life.
