Baykar has reached a production capacity of 20 Bayraktar TB 2 drones per month, the company’s director said, according to a report Twitter AceJacespecializing in the defense industry of Turkey
“We want to produce TB2 combat drones in much larger quantities, we are making the necessary investments for this,” Haluk Bayraktar said.
According to him, there are proposals to open factories in the United Arab Emirates, but Ukraine will have the first factory outside the country.
This is confirmed by information from Kyiv, which recently announced that its own Bayraktar drone factory will soon appear in Ukraine.
Haluk Bayraktar said his company has so far signed export contracts for Bayraktar TB2 drones with 22 countries and with four countries for Akinci drones.
He added that the Baykar production line is booked for the next 3 years.
In July, Haluk Bayraktar categorically ruled out the possibility of supplying Russia with weapons, saying that both Turkey and his company support Ukraine in the war with Moscow.
