ART-safari, last days, with headliners: the architecture of Marcel Janku, Dali, Picasso, Fala in the farce of the “triangular hat”. UNTOLD and the “derbedeil” scene, Macanache, Deliric and Princess Nokia. The book “Intimitatea” is about the limits of closeness to the Other. Netflix, yes, because I want to talk about how to skip Better Call Saul. Read VITAL – every week. Intoxicating ideas.
ART-safari, last days, with headliners: the architecture of Marcel Janku, Dali, Picasso, Fala in the farce of the “triangular hat”
Why Art Safari? I liked the production of Pedro Antonio de Alarcón’s farce “The Triangular Hat”. Ballet staged by Massime, Picasso and de Fala in 1919. We have a history of collaboration, how the costumes were designed and of course significant VIDEO clips from the ballet. The dance is wonderful. I also wanted to stomp “on the flamenco tongue.” Miroshnyk initiates a gambling game into which he gets himself.
Then I got lost in the beautiful arrangement of buildings created by Marcel Janku in the interwar period. A person who went abroad with DADA in mind and returned to Romania to give it a modern look.
You have a photo of the buildings built by Marcel Iancu and you leave the ART Safari in the mood for a trip to Bucharest: what remains of Marcel Iancu’s work, what was chosen from his buildings, who bulldozed their foundations? You also look like Marcel Janka. How would you look today at your integrated creation lying in tattered Bucharest 2022 with a fried potato?
UNTOLD, starts today. Go to the scene of the riot: Delirik, Makanaka, Princess Nokia
See the list here. Choose what you feel.
Admittedly, if I was on UNTOLD, I would go to the “robbery” scene. Check out this madness: Princess NOKIA. There’s something about her that intrigues me and I fall into her rhythm. Check out Princess Nokia:
I wouldn’t miss it
And Macanache too
The book “Intimacy” is about the limits of closeness to the Other
Intimacy. Clinical, cultural, digital and developmental perspectives. Author: Gurmeet Kanwal, Salman Akhtar. Publisher 3. Why am I forcing you to read a series of studies on Intimacy? Because the boundaries of intimacy have fundamentally changed. And with this online communication, but also with the pandemic. Why do we prefer the solitude of a cat or a vibrator over a human? How do we gain mutual trust, how do we hold on to shame, how do we take nude selfies that end up on the Internet? Where is the tenderness of the 21st century? Because the only relationship that’s up for discussion is the relationship with our mother, and we lose it along the way because that’s what society tells us, diversity, the illusion of freedom.
Netflix, “Better Call Saul”
I’m not killing myself after Breaking the Bed. It’s gritty, gory, dopey, has all the ingredients, but I like Better Call Saul. This is with a loser like me. It has this thing, this story of illusions and disappointments in business, it has a vision of life as a deception, it has a cool girl who doesn’t understand Saul’s jokes but is happy to play pranks on him. Here is a “theatre within a theater”.
A lawyer “a la Spirou Haret”, as if on an assembly line, in his own style solves cases filed free of charge, remains poor when he has adventures with bandits, can never become big and strong because of his brother- Su, a principled person, has an insane devotion to his brother and all the idiots in his world. Sol is me. No matter what he does, he fails. It does not yield. And, I repeat, the girl loves him too. How could I not like it?
The film is about the new boundaries of morality, about when and how to stop doing evil, even if everyone is corrupt and there should be no boundaries. This new way of being in a world of chaos is surgically excised every time. I can’t tell you thousands of scenes, watch the series. I stayed for hours to see this “sad” man! Bon appetit!
