
A 54-year-old man was arrested in a spontaneous procedure early yesterday morning, August 2, in Salamis by officers from the Anti-Narcotics Subdivision of the Attica Security Directorate for violating the law. on drugs.
The case was investigated, and after proper use of the information about the person involved in the cultivation of cannabis seedlings, possession of a large amount of raw cannabis and further trade, the above was established and his criminal activities were confirmed.
In particular, a 54-year-old man was caught setting up a nursery with potted hemp seedlings in his makeshift home. After collecting and processing the seedlings, he sold the cannabis in the wider Salamina area.
In total, as a result of the searches, the following were found and seized:
- 24 hemp seedlings,
- 1150 g of hemp extracts in nylon packaging,
- 2 accurate electronic scales,
- mobile phone,
- 2 packages of fertilizers,
- 5 plastic pots for growing cannabis seedlings and
- pesticide.
The detainee was taken to the Piraeus prosecutor’s office for criminal cases.
